The Icelandic Folk and Outsider Art Museum, Safnasafnið, in Svalbarðseyri, has opened a new exhibition titled "Sögumaður" (Storyteller). The exhibition features over three decades of previously unseen line drawings, sketches, models, and sculptures by the late Icelandic artist and illustrator Haukur Halldórsson.

Curated by his daughter, contemporary artist Gunnhildur Hauksdóttir, the exhibition offers detailed insight into Halldórsson's expansive creative imagination, his construction of mythical worlds, and his distinct working methods.

The collection provides a rare glimpse into the artist's creative process and the breadth of his artistic output. The exhibition runs until October 4th.
