Safran and Lufthansa Technik sign 10-year landing gear support deal
Safran Landing Systems and Lufthansa Technik have agreed a 10-year support and services contract covering landing gear and hydraulic equipment for multiple Airbus aircraft types.

Safran Landing Systems and Lufthansa Technik have signed a 10-year Support and Services Agreement at the Farnborough International Airshow. The deal covers landing gear and hydraulic equipment for the Airbus A320 family, A330, A340, and A350 aircraft.
Under the agreement, Safran Landing Systems will provide Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) support for Lufthansa Technik's global maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations. This support includes certified spare parts, technical and engineering assistance, and updated maintenance documentation.
The agreement is set to bolster the development of A350 MRO activities at Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services in London. Continued support for A320, A330, and A340 landing gear services will be provided at Lufthansa Technik facilities in Hamburg.
Berit Plewinsky, Vice President Aircraft Component Services at Lufthansa Technik, stated the agreement combines their network's expertise with Safran Landing Systems' OEM capabilities. Darren Waite, Executive Vice President Customer Support and Services at Safran Landing Systems, added that the deal reflects established trust and will provide OEM expertise and reliable spare parts for maintaining Airbus fleets worldwide.
