Sage Acquires Paperless to Enhance Construction Offering

Sage has strengthened its construction software offering with the acquisition of Paperless Environments. Paperless specializes in technology for accounts payable automation, document workflows, and subcontractor compliance management within the construction sector.

The acquisition is part of Sage's ongoing investment in its construction portfolio. The move is expected to provide contractors with greater control over the information and approvals needed to keep projects on track. This aligns with the increasing adoption of technology in the construction industry to improve efficiency.

Sage is investing in automation and AI to help construction businesses operate more efficiently and gain clearer insights into their financial and operational performance. Paperless brings over two decades of industry experience and enhances Sage's capabilities, particularly in AP automation and document workflow.

Paperless serves over 1,400 customers across the United States, Canada, and Australia. Its technology integrates with both Sage and non-Sage ERP systems, and existing customers will continue to be supported.
