Sage has opened its platform to developers and partners to accelerate the creation of interoperable business solutions. The company is also enhancing AI capabilities in finance and cybersecurity offerings.

Software provider Sage has announced new initiatives focused on expanding its platform accessibility and integrating artificial intelligence (AI) across its product suite.
The company has made its development platform available to external developers and partners, offering new tools to simplify the creation, integration, and commercialization of connected solutions on Sage Intacct, Sage X3, and Sage Active. This move aims to foster a broader ecosystem of interoperable business applications.
In parallel, Sage is deepening its investment in AI. The company has partnered with PwC on initiatives designed to transform AI adoption within the finance sector. Furthermore, Sage X3 has received new AI enhancements and has been specifically adapted for the Life Sciences industry, building on its prior expansion into construction and agribusiness.
Sage Active, a solution tailored for small businesses, has been updated to consolidate invoicing, payroll, HR, and electronic invoicing functionalities into a single, AI-augmented offering. These updates are intended to reduce administrative burdens for French small businesses and streamline collaboration with accounting professionals.
