Sage Group launches £1.5 billion debt programme
The Sage Group plc has established a £1.5 billion Euro Medium Term Note programme to ensure future financing flexibility.
The Sage Group plc announced the establishment of a £1.5 billion (approximately $1.8 billion) Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) programme. The programme will allow the company to issue notes denominated in various currencies as needed.
Payments due in respect of the notes issued under the programme will be unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by Sage Treasury Company Limited. This initiative is intended to provide the company with a flexible and accessible funding source.
The notes are planned to be admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market and to the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) official list. S&P Global Ratings has assigned a BBB+ rating to the programme and a stable outlook to Sage Group's long-term issuer rating.
The programme is subject to applicable regulations and is intended for investors in markets where it is permissible. Notes issued under the programme are not registered under U.S. securities laws and may not be offered to U.S. persons without exemption. The FCA has approved the base prospectus but states this approval does not constitute an endorsement of the notes.
