Sage Intacct Integrates AI Assistant Sage Copilot

Sage is expanding the deployment of its generative AI assistant, Sage Copilot, into its Sage Intacct financial management software. This rollout follows earlier introductions of the AI assistant within Sage Accounting and for Sage Active users in Europe.

Dan Miller, EVP of Financials and ERP at Sage, discussed the company's AI strategy and Sage Copilot's role. "The goal is to help organizations focus on what really matters to their business, enabling them to save time, make faster decisions, and ultimately drive growth," Miller stated. The AI assistant is being integrated incrementally, with ongoing customer feedback shaping its development.

Customers using Sage Intacct are now among the first to leverage Sage Copilot. The company emphasizes the importance of customer engagement in shaping the product to solve real-world business problems. Partners also play a key role in helping clients fully utilize the AI tool for task automation and deeper financial insights.

Sage Copilot builds upon six years of AI foundation at Sage. The company also highlighted its AP Automation feature, which has helped businesses in the U.S. process thousands of invoices and halve the time spent on accounts payable. Sage views AI as a driver of real change in financial processes, freeing up businesses to focus on growth rather than administration.
