Sage launches AI Developer Solutions to accelerate platform innovation

Sage, a provider of accounting, financial, HR, and payroll technology for small and mid-sized businesses, has announced its new AI Developer Solutions. The initiative aims to accelerate partner-led innovation on the Sage Platform by enabling the development and deployment of certified AI agents and workflows.

The program empowers trusted partners to build and release their own AI agents, which will be integrated directly into the Sage Copilot experience. This marks a first for Sage, as it embeds certified third-party AI agents directly into its products. The goal is to offer customers richer choice, embedded intelligence, and faster innovation within the Sage products they already use.

Together we can accelerate innovation for millions of small and mid-sized businesses, bringing AI Agents out of the lab and into the real workflows where they’ll make the biggest impact."

The new Sage AI Developer Solutions establishes a curated, secure ecosystem where partners can create certified advanced AI capabilities and AI agents. These will enhance automation, integration, insights, and decision-making for Sage customers. The launch begins in November with the Sage Intacct AI Gateway and is planned for future expansion across Sage’s entire product portfolio.
