Sage partners with Newcastle Rugby Foundation to boost STEM skills

Sage has partnered with the Newcastle Rugby Foundation to launch the 'Tackling Insights' program, aimed at addressing the skills gap in technology and STEM fields among schoolchildren in North East England. The initiative will utilize smart ball technology to make learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics more engaging and practical.

Newcastle Falcons players Will Welch and Sean Robinson joined Sage for the launch event at Fawdon Primary School in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The program's objective is to foster interest in STEM subjects among young people through hands-on and inspiring educational methods.

Additionally, Sage announced the launch of its 'Accelerate in Finance' initiative. This six-month program is designed to support and mentor underrepresented female and non-binary colleagues within finance roles, aiming to enhance diversity and leadership within the company.

Sage has also hosted masterclasses focused on helping customers build green and resilient businesses. These sessions provide clients with expert advice and tools to develop their operations amidst evolving economic and environmental conditions. The company is also collaborating with Funding Circle to streamline financing for small businesses.
