Sage X3 enhancements add AI capabilities for manufacturers and distributors
Sage has announced new artificial intelligence features for its Sage X3 software, designed to help manufacturers and distributors make faster, more informed decisions.

Sage, a provider of accounting, financial, HR, and payroll technology for small and medium-sized businesses, announced recent enhancements to its Sage X3 software. These updates aim to assist manufacturers and distributors in making quicker, more confident decisions through the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and operational intelligence.
The newly incorporated AI capabilities provide businesses with improved visibility across their operations. This enables earlier risk identification and faster responses to evolving demands, supply chains, and regulatory requirements. Sage X3 focuses on delivering the control and insight necessary for managing complex operational environments.
"Manufacturers and distributors are operating in increasingly complex environments where decisions need to be made quickly," stated Rob Sinfield, SVP of ERP at Sage. "While businesses are rapidly embracing AI, many still need greater confidence in the insights it provides. By embedding AI and operational intelligence directly into Sage X3, we're helping customers identify risks earlier, improve planning, and make better decisions while maintaining the visibility and control they need to run their operations."
Recent improvements include AI-powered e-invoicing in France, aimed at reducing manual processing and enhancing accuracy. The software also offers improved production visibility through the Lynq partnership, assisting manufacturers in optimizing resources and responding more effectively to changing demands. The Sage X3 SaaS solution also reduces the burden of IT infrastructure management.
