SAIC-GM Deploys OS2.1 Update for Buick Vehicles with Multi-Platform Connectivity

SAIC-GM has initiated the rollout of its OS2.1 software update across the Buick Zhijing vehicle lineup. The update upgrades the onboard infotainment systems to include native compatibility with three major mobile connectivity platforms: Apple CarPlay, Huawei HiCar, and the ICCOA Carlink standard.

The integration enables users to link their mobile devices directly to the center console display. Connectivity is established through an initial Bluetooth pairing process followed by verification via the vehicle's application interface, allowing for seamless access to navigation, media, and communication tools.
