SAIC Volkswagen ID. ERA 5S Reaches 10,000 Deliveries
SAIC Volkswagen announced its ID. ERA 5S model has surpassed 10,000 cumulative deliveries. The company also reports 17,053 orders are currently being processed for delivery.
SAIC Volkswagen has announced that its ID. ERA 5S model has achieved over 10,000 cumulative deliveries since its launch. The company further stated that an additional 17,053 orders are in the process of being delivered.
The vehicle, which debuted in August, features Volkswagen's first city Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) capability in a sedan globally. It is equipped with the "Xingyun Zhixing" advanced driver-assistance system and the "Yunqi Zhicang" intelligent cockpit.
The ID. ERA 5S is powered by a 1.5-liter plug-in hybrid system. The engine provides a maximum net power of 80 kW, and the electric motor delivers a peak power of 130 kW. It offers a CLTC electric-only range exceeding 160 kilometers and a claimed combined range of 2,000 kilometers, with a fuel consumption of 2.82 L/100km in hybrid mode.
As the first sedan in the ID. ERA family, the SAIC Volkswagen ID. ERA 5S represents a significant product for the automaker, integrating advanced driving assistance and intelligent cabin features into a hybrid sedan platform.
