Sale of Sitowise Sverige AB Receives Swedish Competition Authority Approval
Sitowise Group Plc has received final approval from the Swedish Competition Authority for the sale of its Swedish subsidiary, Sitowise Sverige AB, to Sweco.
Helsinki – Sitowise Group Plc has been informed that the Swedish Competition Authority, Konkurrensverket, has granted its final approval for the sale of Sitowise’s Swedish subsidiary, Sitowise Sverige AB, to Sweco. All other required authority approvals have also been received.
The approval from the competition authority is a significant step towards completing the transaction, which was initially announced earlier. This regulatory clearance indicates that the authority does not foresee any adverse effects on competition in the relevant markets as a result of the acquisition.
The transaction is expected to be completed on July 31, 2026. Sitowise Group Plc had previously announced an agreement for the sale of its Swedish operations. The full details of the purchase price have not been disclosed in conjunction with this approval.
