Salesforce and IMDA to Aid 1,000 Firms in Slack AI Adoption

Salesforce and Singapore's Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) have launched the Slack AI Launchpad Programme, a two-year initiative designed to assist up to 1,000 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in building AI-enabled workflows using Slack.

The program was announced on October 13, 2026, during SMEs Go Digital Day. Interested companies can apply through IMDA's SMEs Go Digital platform. Participants will receive a complimentary 60-day trial of Slack Business+ for up to 10 users per company, along with access to workshops and guides.

Salesforce will provide support during the trial period. This initiative aligns with Singapore's National AI Impact Programme, which aims to drive AI adoption across 10,000 enterprises over three years.

The program seeks to leverage Slack's AI features, which can surface insights from conversations. Support will include access to Slackbot and Slackbot Skills, helping businesses integrate AI into their daily operations.
