Riekkola has been with Valmet for 28 years, holding various leadership positions within the organization. His departure comes as the industrial sector continues to focus on optimizing operations and sustainability initiatives.
The company has initiated an immediate search for Riekkola's successor. According to the press release, Riekkola is departing to pursue an opportunity outside of Valmet.
