Samsung has officially announced a virtual Galaxy launch event set to take place on August 27. The event is anticipated to reveal new smartphone models within the Galaxy S26 series, which the company states will set a new benchmark with significant innovations in imaging and artificial intelligence.

According to Samsung's announcement, these new devices are designed to make everyday tasks like shooting photos, creating content, and connecting with others easier for users. The presentation will also feature the latest One UI system. The launch event will be streamed live on Samsung's official website and its YouTube channel, starting at 9 PM Korean Standard Time (8 PM Beijing Time).

While Samsung has not disclosed the exact models that will be unveiled, industry observers and tech media widely speculate that the Galaxy S26 FE will be among the new releases. Leaked promotional images suggest the phone will be available in three color options: Blueberry, Graphite, and Pistachio.

Reported specifications for the potential Galaxy S26 FE include a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens. The front-facing camera is expected to be 12MP. The device is rumored to be powered by the Exynos 2500 processor, featuring a 10-core design, and will house a 4900mAh battery with 45W wired charging support. The display is said to be a 6.7-inch Full HD+ panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.
