Samsung Electronics has commenced mass production of its Exynos 2700 processor, a chip designated for use in the upcoming Galaxy S27 series of smartphones. The company has increased production volumes by 10% compared to the previous generation chip, signaling expected demand.

Performance benchmarks for the Exynos 2700 engineering sample have surfaced, showing a single-core score of 4,328 and a multi-core score of 14,700 in Geekbench version 6.7.1. These scores align with previously leaked information regarding the chip's architecture.

The processor features a 10-core design across two clusters. The first cluster includes one Arm C1-Ultra core clocked at 3.36 GHz, accompanied by four C1-Pro cores running at 2.88 GHz. The second cluster is equipped with one Arm C2-Ultra core at 4.24 GHz and four C2-Pro cores at 3.74 GHz.

Graphics are expected to be handled by an Xclipse 970 GPU, and the chip may integrate a dedicated NPU for on-device AI tasks. Furthermore, the Exynos 2700 is reported to support LPDDR6 memory, addressing the memory bandwidth requirements of next-generation mobile devices.

The standard Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ models are anticipated to be the first devices to feature the Exynos 2700. Reports also suggest that certain market variants of the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra might utilize this processor.
