Samsung Display plans 750Hz QD-OLED gaming panel for 2027
Samsung Display plans to release a 24.5-inch Full HD QD-OLED panel with a 750Hz refresh rate in the second quarter of 2027, targeting the gaming monitor market.

Samsung Display (SDC) is reportedly planning to launch a 24.5-inch Full HD QD-OLED panel with a 750Hz refresh rate in the second quarter of 2027. This panel is intended for gaming monitors and is expected to achieve VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification.
The panel's significantly higher refresh rate of 750Hz intensifies competition between TN LCD and OLED technologies within the niche market for gaming displays. Previous information had indicated similar panels with 360Hz and 560Hz refresh rates.
Further plans for 2027 include two 31.5-inch QHD QD-OLED panels with DLG technology set for release in the first quarter: one at 360Hz and another at 240Hz. The second quarter will also see the launch of two 27-inch QHD panels, one supporting DLG technology at 560Hz and another with DLS technology at 240Hz.
Additionally, Samsung Display will introduce a range of OLED panels for commercial use, featuring various sizes and refresh rates, including a 49-inch DQHD 144Hz and a 34-inch QHD+ 144Hz True Black 400 panel.
