Samsung Display to Launch 24.5-Inch 560Hz OLED Panel
Samsung Display is reportedly preparing to launch a new 24.5-inch OLED display panel with refresh rates of up to 560Hz in the fourth quarter of 2026. The panel will utilize the company's advanced QD-OLED Penta Tandem technology.

Samsung Display is expected to introduce a new 24.5-inch OLED display panel featuring refresh rates of up to 560Hz in the fourth quarter of 2026. This panel is intended for the gaming and professional monitor markets, with a 360Hz option also available.
The upcoming panel will be based on Samsung Display's QD-OLED Penta Tandem architecture, a five-layer structure designed to enhance light efficiency by approximately 1.3 times and double panel lifespan compared to previous four-layer designs. The new panels are capable of peak brightness levels of at least 1300 nits.
Alongside the 24.5-inch panel, Samsung is also slated to release a 27-inch QHD (2560x1440) panel with a 400Hz refresh rate in the fourth quarter. This model is positioned as an upgrade to existing 360Hz offerings and will meet DisplayHDR True Black 600 standards.
Earlier in 2026, during the third quarter, Samsung Display plans to launch two other new panels: a 27-inch QHD panel with a 320Hz refresh rate and a 31.5-inch UHD (3840x2160) panel operating at 180Hz. These additions signify Samsung's continued focus on high-performance display technology for demanding applications.
