Samsung Electronics increased its global DRAM market share to 39.4% in the first half of 2026, a rise of 5.4 percentage points from the same period last year. The company attributed this growth to sustained strong demand for AI server memory and an increase in the average selling price (ASP) of DRAM.

In the smartphone market, Samsung Electronics' global share was 22.0%, up 1.8 percentage points from the previous year. This improvement was largely driven by the positive market reception of the Galaxy S26 series, launched earlier in the year.

The company's television business also saw an increase, with a global market share of 30.6%, up 1.5 percentage points year-over-year. Sales of high-end products, including Micro RGB TV and OLED TV, contributed to this growth.

Samsung also reported gains in the market share for smartphone display panels, reaching 46.5%, and for automotive digital cockpit systems, which grew to 13.9%. The company also disclosed its top five customers for the first half of 2026: Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Techtronics, and Supreme Electronics.
