Samsung Electronics Expands Rotary BLDC Compressor Range

Samsung Electronics has updated its industrial offerings with a new series of Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) rotary compressors. The units are compatible with R134a refrigerant and are designed to operate on 50/60 Hz frequencies, targeting a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration applications.

The product range includes five distinct models, with displacement values ranging from 7.3 cc/rev to 49.4 cc/rev. The cooling capacity of these units scales from 3,480 BTU/h for smaller applications to 24,800 BTU/h for higher-demand operations. Performance metrics indicate a Coefficient of Performance (COP) range between 3.16 and 3.55 W/W, verified under ASHRAE High Back Pressure (HBP) conditions.

These components weigh between 4.3 kg and 23.8 kg, allowing for integration into various climate control systems. Samsung is currently providing technical specifications and inquiry channels for business partners looking to procure these components for manufacturing integration.
