Samsung Galaxy A38 tipped to feature 6,000mAh battery

Leaked data suggests the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A38 will house a 6,000mAh typical capacity battery, marking a 20% increase over the current A37 model.

Reports from industry sources indicate that the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy A38 will be equipped with a battery featuring a 5,882mAh rated capacity. When marketed, this figure is expected to reach a typical capacity of 6,000mAh, surpassing the 5,000mAh capacity found in the predecessor Galaxy A37.

Should these specifications hold, the Galaxy A38 would represent one of the largest battery capacities within Samsung’s mid-range A-series, potentially rivaling the Galaxy A07 5G. Analysts expect the device to continue using standard lithium-ion technology rather than shifting to silicon-carbon battery chemistry.

In addition to power specifications, the device is rumored to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera alongside 8-megapixel ultra-wide and 5-megapixel macro sensors. The launch is anticipated for the second quarter of 2027. Given the historical pricing trend—with the A37 reaching a retail price of 469 euros—market observers speculate the A38 could approach the 500-euro price point upon release.
