Samsung Galaxy S27 Series to Feature Integrated Privacy Display
Samsung Electronics is reportedly equipping its entire Galaxy S27 smartphone lineup with an integrated privacy display, a feature previously exclusive to the Ultra model.

Samsung Electronics plans to equip all models in its upcoming Galaxy S27 flagship smartphone series with an integrated privacy display, according to industry sources. This feature, previously reserved for the higher-end Galaxy S26 Ultra, is expected to become standard across the entire S27 lineup next year.
The privacy display technology utilizes Samsung Display's Flex Magic Pixel integration. This system incorporates precisely aligned black matrices that control light direction at the pixel level. The result is a screen that remains clearly visible when viewed head-on but significantly limits visibility from oblique angles.
This move suggests a heightened focus on user privacy in mobile devices. Competitors like Xiaomi, OPPO, and vivo are also reportedly exploring similar privacy-enhancing display technologies.
Expanding this feature to all S27 models aims to enhance Samsung's competitive edge by offering advanced privacy controls to a broader range of consumers in the premium smartphone segment.
