Samsung Launches Entry-Level 14-Inch Galaxy Book6 Laptop
Samsung Electronics has expanded its laptop lineup with the new 14-inch Galaxy Book6, starting at $799. The device features Intel's latest processors and offers extended battery life.
Samsung Electronics announced the launch of its new 14-inch Galaxy Book6 laptop, extending its consumer product line. The device is positioned as an accessible option for everyday computing needs, with a starting price of $799.
The Galaxy Book6 is powered by Intel Core 3 or Core 5 processors from the "Wildcat Lake" family. Configurations include options for 8GB or 16GB of RAM and SSD storage ranging from 256GB to 1TB. Samsung states the laptop can deliver up to 25 hours of battery life on a single charge and supports 45W fast charging.
Measuring 15.7mm thick and weighing 1.35kg, the laptop is available in Violet Silver and Classic Gray color options. It features a 16:10 aspect ratio LCD screen with anti-glare technology. Connectivity includes two USB Type-C ports, one USB Type-A port, an HDMI 1.4 port, and a headphone/microphone jack.
Samsung has also incorporated several AI features into the Galaxy Book6 to enhance user experience. The display offers WUXGA (1920x1200) resolution and 350 nits brightness. The laptop also supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity and comes pre-installed with Windows 11.
