Samsung maintains fifth place in Interbrand Best Global Brands 2026 ranking

Samsung Electronics has retained its fifth-place ranking in the 2026 Best Global Brands report by consultancy Interbrand. The firm remains the only company headquartered in Asia to hold a position within the top five, a streak that has continued annually since 2020.

The evaluation attributes Samsung’s brand valuation of USD 105.2 billion to strong financial performance driven by its semiconductor operations. The company’s Device Solutions division has seen growth tied to the supply of high-value memory products, specifically the production of HBM4 chips to meet global demand for AI-related infrastructure.

On the consumer side, the Device eXperience (DX) division has prioritized the integration of artificial intelligence into its portfolio of smartphones, televisions, and household appliances. The release of the Galaxy Z Fold8, featuring updated hardware specifications, has been a key component of its efforts to maintain market presence across multiple consumer segments.

Interbrand’s annual ranking measures a company’s financial outlook, its influence on customer purchasing decisions, and overall market competitiveness, analyzing factors such as strategic consistency and consumer trust.
