Samsung Electronics' MX (Mobile eXperience) and NW (Network) divisions recorded a loss of 0.6 trillion won during the third quarter of 2026, with combined revenue reaching 37.7 trillion won. This marks the second consecutive quarter of losses for the unit, highlighting ongoing pressures in the company's mobile device business.

In contrast, the Device Solutions (DS) division showed significant growth, reaching a total revenue of 147.1 trillion won—a 15 percent increase from the previous quarter. The memory business was a primary contributor, generating 140.7 trillion won in revenue, a 16.5 percent quarter-on-quarter increase.

Samsung Display also reported results, with an operating revenue of 8 trillion won and an operating profit of 1.1 trillion won. Company officials indicated that they are focusing on operational efficiency and market responsiveness to mitigate the downward trend in the MX segment.
