Samsung Raises Prices for Galaxy S26 Smartphone Series in China
Samsung has increased the recommended retail prices for its Galaxy S26 smartphone series in China. The price hikes range from 800 to 1,800 yuan across different models.
Samsung has raised the recommended retail prices for its Galaxy S26 smartphone series in China, with the changes taking effect in early October.
The base Galaxy S26 model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage now retails for 7,799 yuan, an increase of 800 yuan from its previous price of 6,999 yuan. The Galaxy S26+ saw its 12GB + 256GB variant increase by 1,000 yuan to 8,999 yuan, while the 12GB + 512GB version rose to 10,599 yuan, also up by 1,000 yuan.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra models experienced the most significant adjustments. The 12GB + 256GB configuration increased by 1,000 yuan to 10,999 yuan. The 12GB + 512GB model also saw a 1,000 yuan increase, bringing its price to 12,599 yuan. The top-tier 16GB + 1TB variant experienced the largest hike, with its price rising by 1,800 yuan to 15,799 yuan.
Despite the official price increases, Samsung is offering discount coupons on its website, making the Galaxy S26 series available starting from 5,999 yuan after discounts. The company is also providing a price protection guarantee for the upcoming "Double 11" shopping festival.
