Samsung Releases One UI 9 Update for Galaxy S26 Series

Samsung Electronics has officially begun distributing the One UI 9 operating system update to a wider range of Galaxy devices. The initial wave of devices receiving the update includes the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra models.

The update brings enhanced Galaxy AI capabilities and optimizes the user interface for various form factors. A new feature called My FanCam allows for automatic tracking and centering of a selected person in recorded videos, generating shareable clips without manual editing.

Samsung is also expanding its One UI 9.0 Beta testing program to include models such as the Galaxy A25, A35, A36, A37, A55, A56, A57, S23, S24, S25, and the Z Fold 6, Z Fold 7, Z Flip 6, and Z Flip 7 series. These devices are expected to receive the stable version of the update in the coming weeks.

Additional enhancements in the update include improvements to Samsung's Now Brief information summary, featuring generative and editable cards for health and weather. The update also refines translation tools, document scanning, voice recording, and incorporates new security and privacy features.
