Samsung reportedly preparing next-generation triple-fold phone for next year

Samsung Electronics is preparing to launch a successor to its triple-fold Galaxy Z TriFold phone next year, according to South Korean media reports. This move follows the company's introduction of wider foldable phones.

The tech giant has shared initial information about the new triple-fold project with its supply chain partners, indicating the early stages of development. While specific details remain unconfirmed, the screen size is expected to be similar to the previous model.

Industry observers are closely watching whether Samsung will increase production volumes for the second-generation device. The first TriFold had a limited run, reportedly around 30,000 units, largely to showcase technological capabilities rather than for profit.

Analysts suggest that compared to the first model, which was considered a 'special edition,' the upcoming iteration is expected to have higher production numbers. There is speculation that the new device could be unveiled around July next year, possibly alongside the Galaxy Z9 series.
