Samsung Sponsors Google Play Gaming Event in Japan

Samsung Electronics Japan has announced its sponsorship of a new "#PlayGalaxy" area within the game "DIAMOND VALLEY," featured as part of Google Play's "Great Thanksgiving Festival." The online event is set to launch on December 12, 2023.

The "DIAMOND VALLEY" game, accessible for free without download, is designed to showcase Samsung's latest flagship mobile devices, including the Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold5. In the game, players collect smartphone components to deliver to a robot, aiming to provide a "Galaxy-class mobile gaming experience."

This collaboration aims to deliver the excitement and immersion of gaming to a wider audience through Samsung's devices. Participants will have the opportunity to win Samsung's latest devices by completing in-game quests and accumulating virtual diamonds.

Pre-registration for the event began on November 28, 2023. Samsung's involvement in such gaming initiatives highlights its commitment to the mobile gaming ecosystem and its strategy to integrate its hardware with popular digital entertainment platforms.
