Samsung unveils Galaxy Tab S12 series, with significant updates to Plus model
Samsung has introduced its new Galaxy Tab S12 tablet series, featuring Ultra and Plus models. The Plus variant notably brings substantial upgrades compared to its predecessor.
Samsung has launched its anticipated Galaxy Tab S12 tablet series, this time comprising the Galaxy Tab S12 Plus and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra models. A standard Tab S12 model is absent, suggesting that fans of the smaller form factor may have to wait until 2027 for a successor.
The Galaxy Tab S12 Plus represents a notable refresh for owners of the Tab S10 Plus or older devices. It features a slightly larger and brighter 12.6-inch display. While full specifications on display technology and other enhancements are pending, the updates appear significant for those upgrading from previous generations.
The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, in contrast, includes fewer changes compared to last year's Tab S11 Ultra. Samsung has maintained an annual update cycle for its Ultra tablets since the Galaxy Tab S10 line, while alternating updates for its regular and Plus variants.
