Samsung Wallet to Support Solana Stablecoins on 82 Million Devices
Samsung Wallet and Samsung Pay will support Solana-based stablecoins, enabling cross-border money transfers directly within Samsung Galaxy devices.

Samsung Wallet and Samsung Pay are set to integrate support for Solana-based stablecoins, a move that will bring cross-border money transfer capabilities directly to 82 million U.S. Galaxy device users, according to the companies.
The integration allows users to send and receive stablecoins on the Solana blockchain directly through the Samsung Wallet application. The feature is initially being rolled out to the U.S. market.
Solana Foundation stated that the new functionality aims to simplify and expedite international money transfers by leveraging blockchain technology. Stablecoins are cryptocurrencies pegged to a stable asset, such as the U.S. dollar, designed to minimize volatility.
This expansion of cryptocurrency functionality within Samsung's widely adopted Galaxy ecosystem could increase mainstream adoption, though specific technical details and security measures for the integration have not yet been fully disclosed.
