German technology outlet WinFuture has published details concerning Samsung's forthcoming Galaxy Watch9 series and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 smartwatches. The leaked specifications offer an early look at devices powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear Elite (SW6100) chip.

The Galaxy Watch9 series is expected to come in 40mm and 44mm sizes. The smaller variant will feature a 1.3-inch display and a 325mAh battery, while the larger model will sport a 1.5-inch display and a 445mAh battery. Both versions are anticipated to have aluminum casings, 5ATM water resistance, and run on Wear OS 7. They are reported to include 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

For the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, specifications point to a 47mm case size with a 1.5-inch display and an 800mAh battery. The casing is expected to be made of titanium, offering 10ATM water resistance. This model will share the same SW6100 chip as the Watch9 series but will come with increased storage capacity, at 64GB. Connectivity options are said to include Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi, and optional LTE.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is expected to be priced at 749 euros in Europe. These leaked details provide consumers with an advance understanding of Samsung's next smartwatch offerings, highlighting upgrades in performance and durability.
