Sandbox VR Opens New Location in Denver

Sandbox VR, a company specializing in location-based virtual reality experiences, has opened its newest venue in Denver, Colorado's River North Art District (RiNo). This new location joins Sandbox VR's existing Colorado presence in Lone Tree.

The 7,490-square-foot venue features three private VR rooms, accommodating groups of up to six players. Participants use VR headsets and haptic vests to engage in full-body immersion, allowing for physical interaction within the virtual environment and with other players. The experience includes personalized highlight videos for guests to share their adventures.

"We're excited to expand our relationship with Scott Boren through an additional franchise location in a key market," said Steve Zhao, CEO and Founder of Sandbox VR. Boren also operates the company's Virginia Beach franchise.

Since its 2016 launch, Sandbox VR has expanded globally, operating over 85 locations across five continents and serving nearly 150,000 players monthly. The company offers both corporate-owned and franchised sites, featuring experiences such as "Stranger Things: Catalyst" and "Squid Game Virtuals," developed in partnership with Netflix and other content creators.
