SanDisk has released two new Solid State Drives (SSDs) specifically designed for Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems: the SanDisk NAS 600 SATA SSD and a model featuring a PCIe Gen5 interface. These drives are engineered for high endurance and reliability, catering to demanding data storage needs.

The SanDisk NAS 600 SATA SSD is available in a standard 2.5-inch, 7mm form factor. It offers a range of capacities from 500GB up to 4TB. The drive boasts a Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) of 2.5 million hours and a write endurance of up to 2500 TBW (Terabytes Written), making it suitable for continuous operation in NAS environments.

In addition to the SATA variant, SanDisk is also introducing a NAS SSD utilizing the PCIe Gen5 interface. This next-generation interface promises significantly faster data transfer speeds compared to previous standards, targeting users who require top-tier performance for their storage solutions. Specific details regarding capacities and performance metrics for the PCIe Gen5 model are expected to be released shortly.

The SanDisk NAS 600 SATA SSD is priced starting at 2,599 Chinese yuan for the 500GB model, with the 4TB version costing 12,999 yuan. These new NAS SSDs are now available for purchase through authorized retailers, offering consumers enhanced storage options for their home or small business NAS setups.
