Sanofi Foundation refocuses on children and young people
The Sanofi Foundation has opened a new chapter by strengthening its commitment to children and young people, particularly those with serious illnesses. The foundation will support future generations facing health, climate, and humanitarian challenges.

The Sanofi Foundation has embarked on a new phase, reinforcing its dedication to children and young individuals, with a particular emphasis on those affected by serious diseases. Through the Foundation, Sanofi is extending its mission to improve lives beyond healthcare by supporting younger generations in navigating critical health, climate, and humanitarian challenges of today.
The Foundation operates under the core belief that no child should have their life defined or limited by an illness. This renewed focus will drive programs designed to assist young people in their learning, personal growth, and societal participation, irrespective of the obstacles they encounter. The organization collaborates with NGOs, patient advocacy groups, healthcare professionals, and local communities.
An example of this directional shift is a partnership with the Cerebral Palsy Foundation, aiming to enhance early diagnosis of cerebral palsy for nearly 1,000 children, thereby promoting early intervention and fostering long-term independence. Additionally, a collaboration with AIDA will provide support to up to 1,600 young individuals during and after hospitalization, focusing on their well-being and confidence in the future.
The Foundation also maintains its long-standing commitment to humanitarian efforts and bolstering the resilience of vulnerable communities against climate-related health risks. Previously, the Foundation's humanitarian aid has reached over 26 million patients across 45 countries. The aim is to positively impact more than six million children and young people by 2030.
