Sanofi raises 2026 guidance following double-digit third quarter growth
Sanofi reported a 14.3% increase in third-quarter sales and raised its full-year 2026 outlook, citing strong performance from key immunology products.

Sanofi posted strong financial results for the third quarter of 2026, with net sales growing 14.3% at constant exchange rates. The performance was largely fueled by a 34.8% surge in sales for its immunology treatment, Dupixent, which generated €5.7 billion. Consequently, the company has upgraded its full-year guidance, now anticipating low-teens sales growth and mid-teens business earnings per share growth.
While the pharmaceutical portfolio showed significant momentum—with new product launches contributing €1.4 billion—the vaccine segment faced headwinds, recording a 6.6% sales decline to €3.2 billion due to seasonal phasing. Management maintained research and development spending at €1.8 billion while successfully reducing general expenses through cost-discipline measures.
CEO Belén Garijo noted that the company’s focus remains on navigating the long-term outlook following the eventual loss of exclusivity for Dupixent. To offset this, Sanofi is prioritizing R&D productivity and active portfolio management, which includes a recent partnership with Cheplapharm to divest several legacy medicines.
The company confirmed its commitment to its current capital allocation policy, including progressive dividends. Future growth strategies rely on a combination of internal innovation and targeted M&A to sustain momentum as the company enters its next developmental cycle.
