SANY begins production at Brazil manufacturing plant

SANY Group has completed the assembly of its first excavators and commercial vehicles at its newly established manufacturing plant in Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil. This milestone signifies a crucial step in expanding SANY's production footprint in Brazil and supports the company's growth across Latin America.

The first phase of the 350,000-square-meter facility includes two assembly lines for excavators and commercial vehicles, with a combined annual production capacity of 3,500 units. The excavator line is designed for 1,500 units annually, while the commercial vehicle line will produce 2,000 units per year. This location is intended to better serve customers in Brazil and broader Latin American markets.

By producing locally, SANY aims to reduce cross-border logistics costs and import duties, shorten lead times, and improve service for local customers. The Campinas facility combines production, sales, and service functions, which is expected to strengthen SANY's supply chain and competitiveness throughout Latin America. The company has focused on local sales, production, and after-sales service since entering the Brazilian market.

The plant has already created approximately 200 direct jobs, with plans to add thousands more in the future. SANY Brazil currently employs 80% local staff and has established a network of dozens of dealers nationwide. Banco SANY, launched in early 2026, provides integrated equipment, service, and financing solutions tailored to the local market.

SANY intends to develop the Campinas facility into a regional production hub, further strengthening local manufacturing and supplying high-quality products to customers across Latin America.
