SANY Brazil Plant Begins Production of Excavators and Commercial Vehicles
SANY Group's manufacturing plant in Campinas, Brazil, has completed its first excavators and commercial vehicles, marking an expansion in Latin America.

SANY Group has initiated manufacturing operations at its new plant in Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil, completing the assembly and rollout of its first hydraulic excavators and commercial vehicles. This milestone signifies a significant expansion of SANY's industrial footprint in Latin America.
The 350,000-square-meter facility houses two assembly lines dedicated to excavators and commercial vehicles, with a combined annual production capacity of 3,500 units. The excavator line is projected to produce 1,500 units annually, while the commercial vehicle line is designed for 2,000 units per year. Localized production is expected to reduce logistics costs and shorten delivery times for the South American market.
The Campinas plant will integrate manufacturing, sales, and service operations, thereby strengthening SANY's supply chain and competitiveness across the region. The company has prioritized local production and services since entering the Brazilian market. The facility has already created approximately 200 direct jobs, with thousands more anticipated in the future.
SANY Banco, operational since early 2026, offers integrated financing solutions to local customers. Cao Te, President of SANY Latin America, and Chen Wei, Project General Manager, confirmed the first phase production lines are operational and planning for the second phase has commenced. The company intends to develop the Campinas plant into a regional production hub.
