SANY Renewable Energy used the China Wind Power 2026 exhibition to announce significant updates to its wind turbine offerings, focusing on the full lifecycle of wind power solutions. The company revealed an extension of its turbine design life from 20 to 25 years, a move aimed at increasing value delivery across the entire wind power chain.

The upgrade, initially applied to the 915 platform, involves engineering and fatigue-testing key components for the extended duration. SANY projects this will lead to an estimated 56–58% increase in generation profit over the turbine's lifespan, alongside a reduction in the levelized cost of energy and an uplift in project internal rates of return.

Furthermore, SANY outlined its service strategy targeting 2030, with the ambition to become a leading global wind service provider. This vision includes developing an intelligent, self-operating service ecosystem, incorporating AI-driven spare parts management and full digital employee coverage to ensure reliability and rapid response to potential issues.

International certifications from UL Solutions and TÜV Rheinland validate the company's technology, including its SI-17580 model and steel-concrete hybrid tower technology, supporting its readiness for global markets. SANY also formed a strategic partnership with JD Industrial to jointly expand its market reach through integrated product, channel, and service offerings.
