SANY Renewable Energy Reports Over 300% Growth in International Operations

SANY Renewable Energy has reported substantial growth in its international business. In the first half of 2026, the company's revenue from overseas operations increased by over 300 percent, and its signed international orders approached 5 gigawatts (GW). The company presented these achievements at the WindEnergy Hamburg 2026 exhibition.

A significant European certification for SANY Renewable Energy's SI-17578EU wind turbine was officially granted by DNV. This certification encompasses structural design, safety, and process verification, with a focus on ergonomics, maintainability, and simplifying installation and maintenance. This European approval is expected to open new market opportunities for SANY across the continent.

At the exhibition, SANY showcased a 10 MW nacelle model, the SI-17578EU structural design, carbon fiber blade applications, and an AI-based blade gap model. Additionally, a six-degree-of-freedom test bench for a 35 MW turbine was displayed, demonstrating the product development's capability to adapt to diverse wind, climate, and grid conditions.

The company's installed capacity abroad has reached 1462.35 MW, with projects implemented in Europe, Latin America, and Central and South Asia. SANY is focusing on global expansion, digitalization, and decarbonization through local engineering, digital delivery, and partnerships.

Guo Xiaoming, Deputy Dean of the SANY Renewable Energy Wind Turbine Research Institute, participated in a GWEC panel discussion on grid connection, grid stability, and AI applications in the energy sector. The company was also listed among S&P Global's 2026 Tier 1 wind turbine suppliers.
