SAS Adds Atlanta to Summer 2024 Schedule
SAS is expanding its North American network for Summer 2024 by introducing a new route from Copenhagen to Atlanta.

SAS will launch a new direct route to Atlanta, its ninth North American destination for Summer 2024. Beginning June 17, the airline will offer daily nonstop service from Copenhagen to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
The addition of Atlanta marks an expansion of SAS' presence in the United States. The airline is also increasing frequencies on several existing U.S. routes. The Copenhagen-New York (JFK) route will operate up to two daily flights, complementing existing daily services to New York-Newark from Stockholm, Oslo, and Copenhagen. Flights between Copenhagen and Boston will increase to daily, and the Copenhagen-Toronto route will see an additional weekly flight.
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is the world's busiest airport and is expected to be a significant hub for cargo, partly due to its proximity to the Port of Savannah. Through an agreement with Delta Air Lines, SAS passengers will gain access to onward connections to numerous destinations across the Southern USA, Caribbean, and Latin America.
SAS continues to build its global network through partnerships. The airline recently entered into codeshare agreements with EL AL Israel Airlines and Etihad Airways, adding to its existing 18 global codeshare partnerships that enhance connectivity for passengers.
