SAS and Aerolíneas Argentinas Sign Codeshare Agreement
SAS and Aerolíneas Argentinas, both members of the SkyTeam alliance, have entered into a new codeshare agreement. The partnership expands travel options between Scandinavia and Argentina by combining their networks.

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) and Aerolíneas Argentinas have finalized a codeshare agreement, enhancing travel possibilities between Scandinavia and Argentina. Both carriers are members of the SkyTeam alliance. Under the new arrangement, Aerolíneas Argentinas will place its AR code on SAS-operated flights connecting Madrid and Rome with the Scandinavian capitals of Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Oslo.
Conversely, SAS will place its SK code on Aerolíneas Argentinas' transatlantic services between Buenos Aires, Madrid, and Rome. This provides travelers in Northern Europe with new, single-stop access to Argentina. The collaboration also facilitates unique long-haul itineraries across the SkyTeam network, potentially connecting destinations as disparate as Ushuaia in the south and Longyearbyen in the north.
The agreement allows passengers to book travel on a single ticket and check baggage through to their final destination, streamlining the journey. The codeshare is planned to commence in the third quarter of 2026, pending regulatory approvals. Eligible customers will also gain access to SkyPriority services, and members of SAS's EuroBonus and Aerolíneas Argentinas' Aerolíneas Plus loyalty programs will be able to earn and redeem points across the combined network.
