SAS completes Starlink installation across entire A320neo fleet

SAS has finalized the installation of Starlink high-speed Wi-Fi across its entire fleet of 81 Airbus A320neo aircraft, completing the project in six months. This initiative covers approximately 70% of SAS's total fleet and forms the core of its European operations.

The installations were performed concurrently with regular flight operations, with each aircraft undergoing the process, testing, and approval before returning to service. SAS is now the first airline to have its entire A320neo fleet fully equipped with Starlink connectivity.

"We have completed the installation across our entire A320neo fleet in record time. Bringing high-speed connectivity to these aircraft means that many of our customers can enjoy a better-connected journey," stated Paul Verhagen, SAS's Chief Commercial Officer.

SAS is proceeding with the next phase of its Starlink rollout, with preparations underway for other aircraft types and further installations planned before the end of the year.
