SAS EuroBonus Named Loyalty Program of the Year in EMEA

SAS EuroBonus has been recognized with two awards at the 2026 Frequent Traveler Awards ceremony held in Chicago on October 7. The program was named "Airline Loyalty Program of the Year" and received the award for "Best Airline Elite Benefits" within the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.

The awards are based on votes cast by travelers, with over three million ballots submitted this year. SAS stated that these recognitions highlight the EuroBonus program as a whole, as well as the benefits provided to its most frequent members. The program currently serves more than nine million members and is continually evolving.

Through EuroBonus, members can earn and redeem points on flights, hotels, and everyday purchases. Elite tiers, including Silver, Gold, and Diamond members, receive additional perks such as priority services, lounge access, and increased baggage allowances.

SAS, which joined the SkyTeam alliance in 2024, also saw its alliance recognized with awards for "Airline Alliance of the Year" and "Best Airline Alliance Member Benefits."
