SAS Facility Management Sold to Coor
Airline SAS has sold its facility management division to Coor Service Management. The deal, valued at SEK 1.75 billion, includes property, production, and workplace-related services across Scandinavia.

Airline SAS has divested its facility management division to Coor Service Management, making Coor the general service provider for SAS in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. The transaction, valued at SEK 1.75 billion, is effective June 2, 2008.
The sale encompasses property, production, and workplace-related services, including building maintenance, conference services, reception, energy management, mail handling, and project services. More than 130 employees from SAS Facility Management in Scandinavia will transfer to Coor.
SAS stated the divestment aligns with its strategy to streamline operations and sharpen its focus on core business activities. The company indicated Coor emerged as a strong service partner early in the process, and SAS anticipates a long-term strategic cooperation.
Coor Service Management characterized the agreement as a prestigious assignment and expressed pride in SAS's trust. The company plans to assume comprehensive control and development of SAS's operational services throughout Scandinavia in close collaboration with the airline.
