Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is introducing a new corporate program called "SAS For Business" for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), effective June 1, 2018. This initiative aims to streamline the booking process and provide direct discounts at the time of purchase.

The "SAS For Business" program replaces the previous SAS Credits system, where companies accrued credits for future flight bookings. The new system offers immediate discounts based on the company's travel volume and chosen fare class (Go, Plus, or Business). SAS states that the program was developed in response to feedback from SME clients seeking a simpler and more manageable travel solution.

"We know that time is an important factor for our customers. Therefore, we are launching SAS For Business, which saves customers time and provides them with a clear experience and a discount agreement from which they will be able to see the effects directly," said Markus Ek, VP Corporate and Agent Sales.

SAS reports having approximately 64,000 SME customers. The earning of SAS Credits will cease on June 30, 2018, with all outstanding credits needing to be used by December 31, 2018. However, travel booked with these credits can extend into 2019.

With this updated program, SAS seeks to enhance the travel experience for its business clients and offer a more beneficial and user-friendly corporate travel arrangement.
