SAS names Casey McGee as Chief Sales Officer

Data and AI company SAS has appointed Casey McGee as Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer, effective today. McGee brings 25 years of enterprise sales and revenue leadership experience from companies including Google, Microsoft, and Lytx.

McGee most recently served as Managing Director of Global Partner Ecosystem and Applied AI at Google, focusing on driving revenue and consumption across key business application and infrastructure partners. Prior to Google, he spent 22 years at Microsoft in various sales, partner, and global operations leadership roles, and later served as Chief Revenue Officer at Lytx.

"Casey understands enterprise software, applied AI and partner ecosystems. More importantly, he understands how to help customers get value from technology," said SAS CEO Jim Goodnight. "SAS has always grown by helping organizations solve real problems with data. Casey's experience will help us keep doing that as customers look for practical, trusted ways to use data and AI."

McGee joins SAS following the retirement of Riad Gydien, who led the company's global sales organization for 20 years through significant growth and transformation.
