SAS Opens Additional Lounge at Arlanda Airport
SAS inaugurated a new lounge, SAS Lounge by Mastercard, at Stockholm Arlanda Airport on February 14, 2025. The expansion aims to accommodate increased passenger numbers and enhance the travel experience.
Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has opened an additional passenger lounge at Stockholm Arlanda Airport, named SAS Lounge by Mastercard, effective February 14, 2025. The new facility is located in Terminal 5, near gate area F, and is intended to provide increased capacity and comfort for the growing number of travelers using the airport.
The lounge is a result of a co-branding partnership with Mastercard. It will offer additional seating for SAS' EuroBonus Gold and Diamond members, as well as passengers flying in Business and Plus classes. SAS stated the location near gate F was chosen to reduce walking distances for passengers.
According to SAS, the opening of the new lounge is part of the company's ongoing efforts to improve the overall customer experience. The lounge will provide snacks, light bites, and beverages, with offerings from partners including Carlsberg and Scandic. The interior design aims to create an inviting space for travelers.
SAS expects to welcome both returning and new customers to the SAS Lounge by Mastercard. This opening represents a development in the airline's service offerings at Arlanda Airport.
