SAS opens new routes to the Canary Islands
SAS is expanding its winter flight program to the Canary Islands by launching direct routes from Stockholm to Tenerife and from Gothenburg to Gran Canaria. The new services commence on October 30.
Airline SAS is increasing its flight offerings to the Canary Islands for the winter season 2021-2022 by introducing two new direct routes. Starting October 30, the company will operate flights from Stockholm to Tenerife and from Gothenburg to Las Palmas on Gran Canaria.
With the addition of these routes, SAS will offer a total of six destinations in the Canary Islands during the winter. The weekly flight frequency will initially be 17, increasing to 30 during the Christmas and New Year periods.
To assist travelers with varying entry requirements, SAS has launched a new digital service called SAS Travel Ready Center. This platform allows passengers to check destination-specific restrictions and upload necessary travel documents for verification prior to their journey.
In line with traveler needs for flexibility, SAS continues to allow rebooking of international flights free of charge up to 72 hours before departure. SAS Plus tickets offer rebooking and refund options, while SAS Go Flex tickets for domestic flights can be changed up to one hour before departure without charge.
