SAS to open new Copenhagen Airport lounge in Summer 2027

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is set to open its new signature lounge at Copenhagen Airport in June 2027. The redesigned space aims to offer passengers significantly more room, enhanced flexibility, and various functional zones.

The new lounge will be located on the fourth floor of Terminal 3, providing panoramic views of the runway. The facilities are designed to cater to diverse passenger needs, including quiet workspaces, areas for relaxation, dining, and socializing. A key new feature is a dedicated Exclusive Zone, specifically created for SAS' most loyal top-tier customers, offering them a more private and elevated experience.

The lounge's size will increase by approximately 40 percent compared to the current facility. It will accommodate 24 private work pods, designated areas for families and social gatherings, and rest rooms in the form of hotel rooms. Digital occupancy monitoring will assist in managing customer flow and ensuring a comfortable environment even during peak times.

Food and beverage offerings are a priority, with a dedicated bar, barista service, and a bakery serving fresh pastries and snacks. The menu will blend Scandinavian flavors with international influences and will be adapted throughout the day. This new lounge is part of SAS' broader initiative to enhance the travel experience in Copenhagen, including the previously reintroduced European business class and upgraded partner lounges.
